Fleas

Fleas are predominantly a summertime pest in Sussex that will linger into the autumn months.

Once found within the fabric of the property a few aerosol cans of cheap insecticide will not control an infestation.

When a certain amount of fleas are noticeable away from the host species (eg. cat or dog) then although the pets treatment should continue it’s time to call a professional to treat with chemicals to the property.

Low odour insecticides are used or fumigation (ie – a gas treatment).

Most of these chemicals are practically odourless and thorough surface treatment is applied to floor areas. Any pets and people should be absent while spraying takes place.

Typical drying times are around four hours and no vacuuming should take place for the following fortnight.

There is a gradual improvement noticed almost daily until complete control is attained.
