Pest Control in Crawley – West Sussex

The busy town of Crawley has provided ample and varied work over the years, including infestations of squirrels. Squirrels are no fun in a loft space as a recent case saw a two-fold approach of poison (there is only one legally approved bait allowed) a cage trap in the loft and garden. Control was attained quickly, which it usually is with squirrels or not at all. Fortunately the householder had complied with my request to cease feeding the birds for the duration of treatment.

Not all ‘bird feed’ is about feeding the wild bird population. Recently in the Crawley area I had cause to treat the gardens of four neighbouring properties because one of them kept a few chickens and had drawn rats to the area with the liberal amount of food scattered about.

A job like this can be awkward as the rats get used to the type of food and can be cautious about anything new.

The customer agreed to reduce the amount of food left lying about, the rats found my bait tunnels quickly enough and fed surprisingly quickly. Two more follow ups and all was under control.
